Best Built/Smoothest Folders Under $250

GEC-Northfield Missouri Trapper. best slipjoint out there. maybe not the smoothest but certainly the snappiest.

In that price range, a Gayle Bradley would be an outstanding and wise value. Carbon fiber, M4, and and a strong frame lock for 150 is a steal.

However, I strongly suggest considering a Benchmade 710 in M390. The 710 is an incredibly smooth knife that functions with the strength of a frame lock but with much better speed. Great ergonomics, 4 inch blade, but caries very light. 150 for a limited edition M390 blade is an insane steal that will not be available much longer.
