Best carbon steel for a standard sized stockman?

the 1095 of the Queen Economy line of knives
Extremely good workings for $35 knives
But you will have to rebevel them on your first sharpening (surprise surprise) but well well worth it
 
I tend to carry stockman knives. I love the Queen made MooreMakers 1095 carbon steel blades. Excellent geometry and heat treatment.
