BWAhahahahahahahahah. that is hilariousIf you want no-nonsense, best bang for the buck, go for a Cold Steel Bushman. Waaaay better quality than a KaBar and about half the price.
Kabar also has the Heavy Bowie. Heck of a knife for the price.

I never said it was better than the Becker. But it is better than the KaBar bowie. And I stand by that statement. That is funny as hell!!!
He must have been joking about it being better then a Becker.
If he wasn't, the man must not know his knives.
IMHO The kabar BK 9 would out last the cold steel bushman for many many decades to come.

If youd be willing to spend a little more then Scrap Yard Deregulator would fit you very well.

what you also get is this
"Our guarantee is simple. We warrant your knife against any and all unintentional MAJOR damage for life. The Scrap Yard guarantee is on the knife and NOT just for the original owner."
With that knife you'd get a piece of mind and a good workhorse

agreed, darn good knives for the money:thumbup:...i got one, but my buddy (brother in law) currently calls it "his"The Deregulator and Regulator are around $100. You can add a sheath for almost nothing.
IMO its one of the best heavy bowies out there and the Ergos are outstanding. Not to mention the warranty.
