Have that same one. It's excellent for teaching the kids how to shoot better as I can see on my phone/iPad what they are seeing through the scope. Plus the zeroing process is so simple.

The other Mr. Brown (UPS) brought me this just before Christmas.

45 minutes prior to this pic, I was unwrapping it.
It was coated black, scratched to f*ck, and missing a good chunk out of the edge, just opposite where the spine transitions into the clip.
There are still some issues on the spine where it looks like someone was trying to hack through a Jeep but.....things are looking WAY better than received. It was ROUGH.

Was this sent in for warranty and returned like that? If so, hot damn that's a fine result!
Nope. I fixed it.
Love the Macross Valkyrie.
I went down the Transformers rabbit hole a few years ago and started buying a "few". Bought my son Siege Jetfire and he's an incredible toy. It's like the animated version of "Skyfire" came to life.
What's funny is that the Bandai Chogokin Valkyrie VF-1J is even more difficult to get than a Busse. I stayed up until 3AM to try and buy one on 4 different Japanese sites. They all sold out in less than 10 seconds. That's a rabbit hole I don't want to go down again. That's why it was my favorite. It scratched my Robotech itch also since you couldn't actually get a veritech unless you lived in Japan. My youngest (12) loves transformers and also has that Skyfire. Almost as expensive of a hobby as Busse.

When I got mine, it looked like someone had been hacking at a pallet and hit a nail (I've done it...). The previous owner said that he "honed out" a small chip - I'm guessing that it was at least a 1/8" chunk out of the edge because I got it with a 1/16" bit missing and a "dip" in the edge around it.
There's nothing worse than an unloved Dog.
I was at the office and only had an old file, a block, and some sandpaper. I did it Caveman Style. I couldn't just leave it....it hurt to look at the damage.
I took a lot of steel off (you can see at the belly) - I need to put put a proper edge onto it.

That might be my next project but I'm in the middle of building 5 Polymer 80s and 3 ARs (AR9 Pistol, 10.5" 5.56 Pistol, and a supressed AR22 Pistol).
6.5 imhoThat might be my next project but I'm in the middle of building 5 Polymer 80s and 3 ARs (AR9 Pistol, 10.5" 5.56 Pistol, and a supressed AR22 Pistol).
308 or 6.5 CM?
I got a pair of Grogu Stance socks from a friend. I really like my Stance socks. Not to brag but I got socks. Walking on clouds gentlemen.
Mine is .308. With ammo being so expensive and hard to get I like to keep it common. That might be my next project but I'm in the middle of building 5 Polymer 80s and 3 ARs (AR9 Pistol, 10.5" 5.56 Pistol, and a supressed AR22 Pistol).

Yeah. I agree. One of my rules for buying/ building new guns is that it must take a cartridge and magazine I already have.Mine is .308. With ammo being so expensive and hard to get I like to keep it common.
