I like Spyderco CEs because the teeth are a little more robust than most others. With general use folders, super fine serrations like those on a Cold Steel are wicked cutters at first, but pretty easy to break, and they quickly wear with sharpening. The larger serrations on the SpyderEdge are not just easy to sharpen, but durable and they stay sharp for a prolonged time. Even as the physical edge itself dulls, the spacing of the SpyderEdge still gives the ability to saw and ultimately cut even when the teeth themselves are dull. It's not a pretty cut, but it will work if you're without a sharpener or another knife. IMO something Endura-sized or larger is the ideal combo edge size given you still have a lot of straight edge to work with. With something like the Delica, you loose too much straight edge and that can make performing certain functions more difficult.
If I had to pick a single knife...it would be either the Spyderco Military or Benchmade 710 due to the relatively flat profile of much of the area which retains plain edge. You get a lot of straight & plain edged length in addition to the CE in which you can still use most of the knife in a function as you would if the knife did not have serrations. The larger handle give you good leverage when 'sawing' with the serrations which are generally tasks in which you want really good leverage and grip (ex: hold a rope with your left hand and sawing it with the serrated part of the knife in your right hand, within close proximity of each other.
