ESEE's serrations are pretty good, they are supposidly very easy to sharpen. I havent needed to yet. I really like the serrations on my tanto blur(lock up is exelent). I dont care for the scalloped serrations kershaw is using now. Spyderco is pretty good with benchmade ranking at a 7 on a scale of 1-10 for me. Also if you want fast straight cuts crkt's veff serrations are good but will take more effort to sharpen. I say crkt veff serrations, ESEE's serrations, or kershaw scalloped serrations for cleaner cuts. But for tearing to get through the material spyderco or other companys got you. I love CE knives.
