Will it be too hot to hunt dove? If you hear about an old fart melting down to a puddle on September 15 in a Cullman County, Alabama field leaving nothing but a left-handed Benelli Super Black Eagle, an orange-handled Busse Game Warden, and a humongous Busse Combat boonie hat, I suppose that it will have been. But I assure you, it wil not be too hot for me to go find out if it's too hot. If I do melt, the first Hog there has salvage rights on the shotgun, knife, and hat.

Besides, we are expecting cooler weather. High's should be only in the low 90's by then.

I would think the Basic 5 would be a little too big, have you handled a SS4 (it is INFI)?

Hmmmm, I don't think any Busse fits in my hand as nicely as a SHBA, and at around .22" it has nice woodcraft dimensions as well. I've got a thin, orange G-10 GW and it is as nice as anything though. It makes a very nice field tool for everything from cheese and apples to shelter construction, and coupled with my BIBB or ZTNO there isn't much I can't get done.

So you must not like the LMS since it is basically the same knife with a resiprene handle. Exactly the same blade profile as the 07 SE Mean Streets. The resiprene is an infinitelly better user grip for a smallknife even if it does not have the same good looks as micarta or G10
