Good Day,

Looking for some recommendations on where to find the best deal on a Strider PT.
Any suggestions are well appreciated.

Many thanks,

I think strider knives are sold for retail on all the internet sites. You should to check out the "For Sale: Production Knives (Individual)" forum here on BladeForums.

$250 is certainly a bargain but I recently had a profoundly positive experience buying ($300) from tadgear.com. Free shipping, less than 24 hours from click to box in hand...

I would look for the cheapest deal. Myself, and someelse of CRK forum have reported problems with their new knife. The money you save can be used to send it back to the factory for fixing.

Thanks All, I sure appreciate the help, and sorry Cougar, where would have been the best place to post questions like this in the future?

Matt D supports Blade Forums and is a Strider dealer, why not try him? You can find his link in Customs/Pruductions Dealer.

I got mine from Plaza Cutlery for $250. Excellent service. They asked if I was more interested in a good lock that may need some break-in, or one with a better stamp. I wanted the best lock, and the one I got was perfect. Very easy to deal with, fast shipping.

Yeah. In the past Strider had lots of problems hammering their mark into the blade evenly. It's not uncommon to see really poorly done stamps. They must've built a fixture to fix that problem, or started using a press because they're perfect on mine, and the more recent knives I've seen are pretty good, too. Even that AR that went around had sort of an uneven mark, I think... No big deal. Easy problem to fix, especially if someone from Strider calls our own Higgins and orders one of his SWEET stamp holders. Work of art!
