Best description to ship a knife from Canada to the US?

Ouch! That's a bad deal Rick. No experience with those larger amounts. Just thinking out loud here but how about several smaller shipments?
 
It'd be a shame to break a knife in pieces.... lol. I shipped a $1375 blade just after Christmas with $500 insurance. I gets to be nerve racking.

I read a discussion between collectors on a forum that had good things to say about an outside insurance agency to cover knives in transit.

I can't remember their names, or which forum or I'd find a link.
