Best digital watch

My solar G Shock battery died approximately 4 months and now they want to charge me close to what I paid for it to replace it.

happens with all solar watches... hasnt happened to any g's ive owned but i have had a citizen eco drive die on me. capacitors arent cheap to replace, most watch repair shops will charge $50+- to replace it and wont guarantee itll work. its best to have any repair work done at at an authorized service center under warranty if possible.

the casio dw5600 (non solar/atomic) version has a 10+ year battery life. ive heard there are a few from the 80's (20+ years) that are still on their original battery...
