Best duct tape is ??

Couldn't find the Nashua "357", but found their "398". Went to their website, and saw that the 357 was a bit better in a couple aspects, but the 398 outshines almost all of the others.

I'll keep looking for the 357.

Thanks for the lead.

I have a roll of the Lee valley original duct tape that I take on wilderness canoe trips. It is thick, strong and sticky stuff and reserved for real important work will last a long time. Doesn't stick well in cold weather unless you warm it up some but this is true of all tape I have used.

Anyone tried the Tesa 12 mil tape? The wife bought a couple of roles of the stuff and paid 18.00 for both at sportsmans guide. She bought it because the add read 100mph military grade tape. She uses it to keep her mail delivery truck together and the stuff is tuff and holds tight in all types of weather, at least in these parts which has been hot, humid, dry and heavy rain for a few days. Happy with it so far but havn't had any freezing weather yet, so the juries still out on that one.
