all this talk about how locks fail on folders that yall are talking about,i can solve this problem,get a quality fixed combat knive and dont look back if you have problems with locks on your knives.if you abuse a 100 dollar knife like you are saying till it breaks, wouldnt buying a small fixed blade be better

Trust me, I'd rather carry and use a fixed blade most of the time, but that's just not practical in a lot of places. There are places where its illegal, and there are also places where you'll create a really big stir with the NKPs for nothing. I carry different sized folders AND fixed blades because it gives me options depending on what I'm doing and who's around at the time.
