Best EDC knife under 3 inch blade?

What's your budget?

For a fair price, I think the Spyderco Delica is the winner. Sure, there are ones with harder steel and more tactical gripping surface, but as an EDC that doesn't matter much to me.

I'm still carrying my old Delica, with the integral plastic clip. It's like a old friend now.

I'm also carrying the Victorinox Spartan Lite, in case I need tools.

My most common EDC since it's introduction here is a production Benchmade 755 MPR (bottom below). Christmas saw the addition of a black bladed 755BK (top below) as a 'backup'. Their 2 13/16" m390 blade keeps it's edge quite well. The middle knife below was another Christmas goodie - the Boker Pipsqueak, a Neil Blackwood design, has another healthy short - 2 5/8" - blade - of S35VN. The 755 is well entrenched in EDC duties, else that 'Pipsqueack' would be in my pocket. Last summer I added my first S35VN pocket knife - a new small Sebenza. It gets some carry.

The 755 MPR is a heck of an EDC knife.

i am huge fan of the delica. i have a 3 and a 4. i have knives that cost a lot more but my edc when i am not i the office is my delica 3. its hard to beat the weight, the vg10 the price. its a lot more comfortable in my pocket compared to a griptilian and a lot cheaper then a sebenza if i lose it.
