Best EDC - Tactical Max 3 inch Folding Knife

If it must be under 3 inch exactly then Emerson mini cqc7. If 3.3 inch is ok then regular cqc7.

Delica is another amazing knife for this role. Even more comfortable to carry for EDC than the Emersons, and Spyderco does the wave better and it is better for edc tasks. Also the backlock is very reliable.

If you are a real tactical pimp ninja then get the Spyderco P'kal and learn how to use it. Then you will be truly cool.

For EDC task in a modern folder I really like my Delica but being a big fan of slipjoints I most likely have one in my pocket. However for this discussion I'll only show the Delica.

I really like my mini grip. Para 3 would be great, but have not got it in hand yet, so can't say for sure. A small Protech auto. Ferrum Forge Septer or Ntac.
Oh just got a Framelock flipper with M390 steel for less than 135 bucks! Action, lockup, HT, PERFECT detent, blade geometry, etc. All amazing! Really took me by surprise! Kizer's mini Dorado. Even the carved Ti pocket clip(which I normally dislike) works with any thickness of pocket material. Jeans, thin shorts, dress pants, etc. Beyond amazing!
The next one I have coming is the Ferrum Forge/WE Falcon. Another well priced blade!

I would go with a Hinderer Halftrack! Awesome knife! Under 3" great action, rugged and built tough.

Hmm. Possibly not the best, but I presently carry a Cold Steel Hold Out III for that. Here's why: it's small, light, stabby, slicey, grippy, has a strong lock, and is reasonably easy to open quick-ish like. And it's cool. I like it.
