Spyderco Stretch - Amazing knife, this is my new light EDC.
Spyderco Manix 2 - You just can't go wrong with a Manix 2.

I would suggest the Manix 2 G10 version. It's a little bit hefty, but it feels good in the hand. One thing it has over the translucent blue version is that you can take it apart and clean it if you need to. The blue manix 2 is put together by pin construction

Buck vantage pro gets my nod. It's got an S30V blade with bos heat treatment, cnc cut g10 handle, and rock solid lockup. The flipper works decent to open the knife, one-handed, in a jiffy. I didn't expect to like this knife as much as I do. The clip makes the knife ride very low, making it easy to conceal almot anywhere. The flipper doubles as a handy choil and keeps fingers away from danger when using the knife and closing it. The oddly cut spyderco'ish opener hole is difficult to use to open the knife, but acts as a beautiful place to mount a zip-tie wave if you're in to that kind've thing.

The corners of the handle need to be knocked down and radiused a little, so does the liner lock, to feel comfortable. They can be found for $50-70 pretty easily.
