There is nothing to excuse!! Who is the man in the house? And who has to say what happens with the money? Wife and kids have to eat not so much then there is no reason left to stop buying Buck knifes for the collection.

Hi Bucksway,

There is no excuse. I need a new Buck knife because....I want it...I need it...I've got to have it. I never know when or where the fever will hit and when it does....it must be fed:eek::D:eek:. I don't know why I'm obsessed with these things???? However, I'm not alone ;)

Oh,
I'm off to Wally world again to look for those elusive holiday tins. :)

EARLY CHRISTMAS PRESENTS !!!!!!
Aren't you jumping the gun a bit? Have you even bought your Thanksgiving Present Knife yet? Sadie Hawkins Day? National Meth Awareness Day?

My own reasons for a new pocketknife are usually simple, and I don't have to remember any dates.

"It's on sale."
"It's practically free."
"I'd be stupid to not buy it."
"I don't have one like it."

Because, The one with the Most Bucks (Green Ones Too.:D) when they Die, WINS!:D

...National Meth Awareness Day?...

...(As Goose runs to his calendar to see what day that is)... :D

"Safety Tool"...Every SUV owner needs a sharp Buck knife to cut his way free in event of a rollover... ;)

And since they go dull so often...a new one is needed!!! :D

The Mrs. came home this afternoon with one of my 110's on her belt!  I didn't ask too many questions but it's definately a good excuse to buy her a Buck, and maybe pick up a matching one for me :D

You see, the faactory has discontinued this model and it will no longer be available if I don't get it now. Discontinued knives only go up in price and they get harder to find. If I keep it unused, it will increase in value. If I use it, it has saved me money because if I have to get one later on, it will cost me more.....But now come to think of it, I should probably get TWO of them. That way I can have one for an investment and one for a "user". So, understand that when two new knives show up, I was only thinking of us and our financial future.

How about (insert any name necessary)

"gd526- talked me into it."

I also use "Goose" or "tripleslamx" occassionally ;) :D

LOL...that is the line I used to convince myself a few times.

"Jim talked me into that cool 110 BuffCote."

"Trax talked me into getting a 120."

"Five-0 Mike talked me into getting a 112."

"EEEEEEEE talked me into getting a full tang 124."

"Hawkeye talked me into getting a Rosie Dorado."

The list goes on...

Peer pressure!!!!
Yes, if Trax jumped off a bridge, I would too. That means there must be a Buck knife down there!!!

Decaf Dave talked me in to the 110's.Christmas tin and such.

Goose and Messy the 889.

Trax and Goose the 120.

Pack Rat the 121.

Larry Oden the 425's ,with his rabbit skinning tall's.

WH4F, the 123

Joe H the 103

Woody, the 102 that next on the list.

I for got who to blame the 119 on.

I love it here , there's always some to blame it on when she ask.LOL
