Best Fantasy Survival Knife

Put up your best fantasy scenario survival knife. It has to be a real knife because we know the best is a Light Sabre.

Rambo knives, Cutlasses, anything that you fancy and over the top. Ruggedly brutish, or completely fantastic. It could actually be quite good if it wasn't back at home as part of a collection.

The "in your dreams" one tool option.

Its for fun. so don't get heavy....unless its a Battle Mistress.
 
Mora's are just so boring. They work but I don't fantasize about all the tasks I can do in a survival scenario.
 
It would be my Mora with a sheath that is attached to the sheath of a Vaughan riggers axe.
Survival knives are a no go for me becauseno one tool can do it all perfectly, and the only thing that tries and gets away with it is a multitool because they're only for minor everyday things.
BTW I'd not take off my edc just because I was bringing cutting tools specifically for the woods, so I'd still have a folder on me as well as my leatherman fuse.

I suspect my Leatherman Squirt PS4 would handle most survival scenarios that I'll run across. If I need to go really rugged, then a Vic Spirit multi-tool.
 
This is only a few of them, but I would say the longer tanto machete. I use that thing almost everyday and it is the toughest knife I own(A constant battle with overgrowing/evergrowing bamboo, blackberries, and other veg. on the farm). That, a smaller fixed, and a good folder or two, that would be ideal for any situation where I would need blades. Ideal would be all my knives I guess, haha.

I have a Skrama, but that would be far too sensible :p

Asking about the best fantasy survival knifes kind of like saying that you are dating the least hairy professor in the feminist studies department. ;)

Damnit. Saw the thread title immediately went Ha! only to have that option taken away from me.

Ok, how about a Glamdring made out of appropriately heat treated spring steel. I think it'd be cool, woe betide any zombie or orc that crosses my path.

Ok, to be serious, I'd say a BK9 as it's the most useful and decent largish Bowie knife I have. I'd like to say a ka-bar 1211, and that it'll do, but the stick tang I'm concerned will not withstand my demolishing many cinder blocks by means of whacking them with the spine. Because, you know, that's what you do in survival. :p
