Best fire build?

I generally build a log cabin style fire lay then plant a copper rod in the ground in the middle of my kindling and wait for the inevitable lightning strike. I expect it any day now ;)
 
Pattern? I just make a stacked mess...always works, just use the right materials and fiddle with it a bit.
