I'm interested in what you think is the best or most functional CR fixed blade, not including the project, for daily carry.

I have a Shadow Iv and love it. It seems big for a daily carry. I have been thinking about a Mountaineer I. Any suggestions.

Thanks Wolf

I like the Aviator also..
The Pancake Sheath is secure and fits me perfect, great for everyday carry..
I am presently having a kydex sheath made for IWB carry..

I have the Mountaineer 1 and had Scott Hendryx make me a kydex sheath that rides high and it is an excellent daily carry system.
Chris Reeve makes a great using knife, I've used mine a lot and I couldn't be happier.

Wolf,

Just received a Mountaineer 1. I also have a Project 2.

I carry the Shaddow III and find it to be the lowest profile carry in the CR range. also very comfy, and the sheath also works well as a slip sheath for in pocket carry.

I also use the MKVI and find it comfortable to carry, position on the belt is just high enough not to interferte with sitting down.

The Skinner (Ubejane) is also short and stout and carries well and does not interfere when sitting down.
