I am calling these blocks "BEST Flamed Maple" because I do not think it can get much better than these.
I cut these blocks from a guitar billet of 5A Flamed Big Leaf Maple.
After cutting up the billet I sent the best blocks to K&G to be stabilized.
I got them back Friday and cleaned them up right away. They are all in the store now in the Stabilized Blocks section for Maple. Scroll down the page a bit to get to where these blocks are listed. Most are priced at $40 and a few of the very best ones are $45.

Here are examples of a few of my favorite ones followed by a group picture of the batch. The individual photos are more true to color than the group photo.

I just finished adding a dozen bookmatched sets of some nice wood to use for making sayas / scabbards. Or it could be used as top material for making display boxes.
Pretty nice wood. These are all cut bookmatched so there will be two mirror image, matching pieces. They have been drum sanded so they will be flat and even thickness. Finally I sprayed them with a light coat of aerosol lacquer to give them a bit of extra protection until you are ready to start your project.

These bookmatched sets are now in the web store in the Bookmatched Saya / Box Top Sets I was unable to take a good group photo so here are some individual photos. I hope you like them.
