I am simply looking for a nice flipper under $70. I recently bought a Ruike p108 and have fallen in love with the knife. When i bought it, its competition was the CRKT Crossbones or the Boker Urban Trapper. The ruike was cheaper and has a better steel. Im thinking the p801 or p121 next unless there is better options.

My favorite is without a doubt the Real Steel Sea Eagle. After carrying it for months, I am definitely going to get a second one!! It has 14C28N, but has a really good heat treat. Actually holds a great edge and still easy to sharpen. Action and lockup are fantastic! The Carbon fiber one is more pocket friendly than the G10. The G10 has the same texture as the Spyderco G10, tears up your pockets unless you smooth it out under the clip. I have the Sea Eagle G10, and sanded it smooth, but my next one is going to be the carbon fiber.

Heads up. If you buy from a place like knife center or another major store, you will save money. They are much more if you buy from the Real steel website.

I have been using a CH CH3001 for couple of months and I think I can recommend it. D2 steel, titanium handles, and a blade almost the same size as a Rat 1 in handle the length of a Rat 2. I am still putting it through its paces to see how it holds up on the ball bearing front, but I am pretty confident that it will last from my experience so far.

I really like CH3504 for price around 80USD.

CH can be great, just be careful of the models, some of the earlier ones are spotty QC. The 3500 is one of the smoothest flippers I have, this next to Reate, ZT, WE... and the 3504 is supposed to be equally excellent. I have the 3504 mini, and it's amazing. I'm not a skull person, so like Aldebaran, I'll be getting the new "clean look" 3504 sometime soon. You can get 2 older CH flippers branded as Kubey on Amazon, if you get a dog it's easy to return. Can't go wrong with Kizer Vanguard series (trickle down of their Bladesmith series) - the Dukes is quite good. As you found out Ruike is a contender as well. Visit LuvThemKnives on youtube, he does videos of Chinese flippers all day and night. I've had lousy luck with TwoSun, he's done a lot better. Check his table sale from last Friday, there are still some very good deals available. The advantage with his TwoSuns is they've been checked by him - and you can watch the reviews and then decide! Also a commenter on LTK's channel has a Chinese knife blog, he can recommend good sellers on DH and Ali.

Big fan of the Kershaw Strobe. No question, without a doubt, don't even argue with me about it - best <$20.00 in the world.

I figured they've discontinued it because it's one of the few Kershaw's that's not assisted, which steps on ZT's toes. No, I can't think of anything for less than $30 that can touch it.

Another vote for the Kizer Vanguards. I'm partial to the Dukes (light-ish EDC) which I've played with several times at retailers. I'd own one, but I already have that niche filled.

I'm also gonna recommend two flippers well above budget, but very well known and with (deservedly) excellent reputation

CRKT Ripple and Kershaw OSO sweet, just my favorites even though not the most expensive
