Hello for my Birthday today I got a $50 Amazon gift card and I have no idea what knife to get in that price range.
Here are my requirements:
Must be fairly light
Must be a folder
Cant be a Tenacious or Delica (I already have one)
Yep so tell me what you think and I'll let you know which one I pick.

If you are looking for a good folder, I can think of a good backup/main
edc. I recommend a buck mini buck. It only weighs 1 or less ounces and has a 1 7/8 inch blade
made of 420hc steel. It is also made in the USA. You could also look at a smaller condor
knives in fixed blade knives. Most of condor's knives and machetes
are made of 1075 carbon steel.

I picked up my Kershaw Knockout for $45 but I think they are more like $60 in general. A Kershaw R.A.M. if you can find one. Do you have a Skyline? Kershaw Piston is also pretty light. Those are all made in USA also. Do you only like modern type folders? What is your favorite style of locking mechanism?

I forgot to say I would prefer a better steel than that. Also I don't really like Buck.

Yes only Modern folders and I like liner lock, Frame lock, and Axis lock.

Not a great steel, but my cold steel American Lawman sees a ton of pocket time, and is pretty light.

spyderco dragonfly2 is an amazing little knife the forward choil really lets you get a full grip on such a small knife. its light weight and comes in a few different steel choices so you can find one to best suit your needs. the standard vg-10 blade is great but if you want to spend a little bit more coin the zdp-189 is totally worth it, the H1 is also nice if you fish or just around areas with high moisture.
