Best folder for around $100?

Get yourself a REKAT Sifu. It's a foot long, and mean as hell.:D.

A good 2nd choice would be a REKAT Carnivour.:).
 
Go with a BM fully serrated AFCK. It's discontinued, but you should be able to find one somewhere. Very wicked knife.
 
I've had 3 Emersons and the key word is "HAD" all 3 had to go back more than once!! IMHO total peice of sh*t!! Get a spyderco or MT!!
