Best folder under $50

Search on ebay under Kershaw and pick up one of the Segal folders for under 50 bucks. Way under 50 bucks. Very nice knife indeed. keepem sharp

Byrds would be hard to beat in the $20 dollar range. I think you can do better in the $50 range.

I still want to know: BEST FOR WHAT???

Skinning, SD, general carry, small survival blade, General camping???

Ain't no one knife in any price range that is best for all things.

this question is really too broad, imo. there's a lot of options in materials, construction, and scope of use even with a $50 cap.

Sweet America ;) . For example G-10 Cara Cara costs in Czech republic about $45 (and this is the lowest price on our market) :mad:
 
Kershaw Storm II or Storm are both good as is the Vapor for well under $50.

Spyderco's Wal-Mart Native is also a great deal. The Cold Steel Ultimate Hunter is borderline maybe just over your $ limit but close enough to include it.

Then you can also look at the Byrd Cara Cara or Meadowlark which are both good values along with the Kabar Dozier folding hunter knives which are also quite good values for the money spent.

Finally the Buck 110 is always a fine choice in an inexpensive folder with lots of bang for the buck.
