Sebenza? How about a Schrade sharp finger? My first knife was a Schrade golden spike. I loved that knife. I felt so B.A. With it on my belt. If not that then an opinel 8 or a victorinox huntsman.
I grew up on a farm and was using a knife at that age. I had a Camillus made sawcut delrin two blade barlow with the clip blade broken off at about 3/4ths. The little blade was rusted shut when I got it and I did get it open I never used it. If I could look back and choose a knife for me at that age it would be a single blade sheepfoot style with a filling grip like the barlow. The jack has always been too small and causes cramps trying to hold onto small grips during hard use. A lockback preferably. If a slippie, one that doesn't have too much spring, and has a half stop.
Although it was many decades ago, I still remember when I was 11yrs old. The knife I wanted most, more than any other was a Buck 110 or 112. I had slippies, I had a really nice Sodbuster, but I really wanted the Buck and best of all they can be had for approx. $30.00
