Hey there I've done some searches on Blade Forums to find which folding knife making book is the best and haven't come up with any hits. Anybody know or have opinions on books they've used? I went to my local Borders book store and the guy in there looked at me like I was some sort of psycho! I then politely asked if they were in the terrorist section and he said "probably" and he walked away.;) :D

How to make folding knives, Ron Lake, Frank Centofante and Wayne Clay. Also look at The Knife Network, there are two tutorials on making folding knives which are step by step

nice comment from the Borders salesperson eh:rolleyes:

IMO

slipjoints : Terry Davis and Eugene Shadley
linerlocks : Robert Terzuola
fixed blades : Wayne Goddard

Good luck finding that one on slip joints. I've been looking for a bit over a year now, but am unwilling to spend hundreds $US. The only one on slip joints readily available is "The complete book of pocket knife repair" by Ben Kelly Jr. Not so much a how to build as a this is how the parts look/work.

I'll second Shadley and Davis. One of the best knife books I ever bought!

Rob!
