Best folding knife under $100

What you need to do now, is take the best 5 to 10 decisions, go to a knife store and handle them all. You will narrow yourself down real fast. Some will not feel right, and others will feel just right. I love my Benchmade Griptilian, it goes out of the house with me every day. I got mine for 80 plus tax. It has 154 CM steel and holds a good edge. It gets alot of use.

I don't think you would be disappointed with any of the knives on your list(s) or those suggested by the other posters. They are all decent knives, well worth the money. At least IMO. It just comes down to what you like the look and feel of.

I always liked the Leek. I think it's Ken Onion's best design, and does a number of things well.
But mentioning it is almost superfluous, since the Manix, Delica/Endura, and Griptilian have already been mentioned. The Leek is thinner, I think, than any aforementioned knives, though, for what that's worth.

If you can find a Kershaw 1050. I think its one of the best lock backs ever in this price range. Both of mine were under $100

Spyderco:
Endura Wave
Delica Wave
Manix 2
Caly 3

Benchmade:
Griptilian
Mini Griptilian

Kershaw:
Shallot
Leek

Fallkniven U2. Light, tough frn handle, solid backlock and sgps powder steel.
Nothing fancy but a basemodell knife that begs to be used.

Another vote for the Spyderco G10 Endura and ditto the G10 Kershaw Tyrade.

I'm also smitten with the Kershaw OD Green Blur with CPM-154 blade, it is model #1670OD.

You won't regret it. The Endura is a great knife. Post a review and let us know how you like it.

tanto Griptilian
Spyderco Native4 carbon fibre
H&K 14205
BM griptilian
spyderco endura 4
Spyderco Manix 2
Kershaw NRG2
Delica 4

Out of your list I would pick-up Native4. Great ergos, great steel, great look. I love full flat grind, it just slices better. Also it looks like few dealers have really good prices, under $100.
Good luck

I am extremely surprised that no one has mentioned the Spyderco Tenacious yes. I don't own one (yet, although I do own its Benchmade counterpart, the Vex, which I really like, but it's a bit more expensive) but it's supposed to be a great EDC knife. And it's only $30

Caly 3, UK Pen Knife are probably the best slicers.

Manix2 is probably the toughest knife in that price range.

Delica wave or Endura wave are probably the fastest self defense knives in that cattegory.

It all depends on what you mean by "best". Best at what?

Spyderco Endura 4 & Delica 4 Stainless Steel or Benchmade Griptilian. For $110 you could get a D2 griptilian from cabelas or for $118 you could get the doug ritter griptilian in S30V. I found a griptilian (154cm) for 65$ and a delica 4(VG10) for 40. 2 knives for a little over 100$...

Kershaw Blur in S30V or CPM 154

Spyderco Endura or Delica, Manix 2, or Stretch 2 FRN, whichever fits you better.

Benchmade OD griptillian in D2 Used to ba a cabellas exclusive, but is now sold at a couple stores. Both sizes in both PE and CE

Any of these will do:
Spyderco Native 2 (excelent value)
Spyderco Endura Wave (the best one for self defence)
Kershaw Ram
Kershaw YJD II CB (probably the best overall)
Benchmade Griptilian
Cold Steel American Lawman
Blade-Tech Pro Hunter Lite
CRKT M4
