best folding knife w/ D2

I'm trying to compile a short list; but, it seems I can only find a few.

namely by ka-bar and benchmade. are there any others? what's the best for under $200?

lastly, is the ontario rat-1 ever going to be offered w/ D2?

As you may have gathered from other threads, Benchmade plans to offer its 710 model in D2. I have a 710HS (M2 blade) and its one of my all-time favorite folders. If you do some searches on the 710, you'll find that a lot of others share this opinion. The D2 version should be an excellent knife as well.
 
The Camillus Cuda Maxx with bowie style blade is D2-- very well designed and executed knife.
 
i'd go for the new BM 710, besides being chunky and rough on the pocket (handle scales) they are awesome, heavy duty knives... with the best lock IMO. :)
 
You may also want to look into Cabelas D2 Grip and the new 710 in D2. Both are a great choice.
 
Benchmade also has the 960 Osborne which is in D2, although id go with the D2 griptillian
 
The 960 is a gorgeous knife, so I have to throw that out there.

I have two D2 knives and they're both great. D2 Cabela's minigrip which is a great deal, and my 41MC.

The two best D2 knives, in my opinion are the 41MC and possibly the new 32 Morpho, but I won't know until I handle it.

I don't think you can get a better D2 knife for the money.

...well, of course, the Benchmade 710 is now available (or will be soon ) in D2.
 
Queen has many slipjoints in D2. They also have some single blade liner locks and lock backs. The Mountain Man Lockback looks pretty cool.
 
I just ordered an AFCK (806) in D2 from OneStopKnife for $141. The website said it's being discontinued so I jumped on it. I loved my old AFCK but had to throw it away in the Dubai airport when I realized I had flow from Kuwait with it in my pocket.
 
I would take a serious look at the Benchmade 806d2. It is one of the best and most carried knives I own, and it's been through alot. If you look around you should be able to find one, if not wait for the 710.
