Best folding Knife?

I want a folding knife to carry (in a backpack more than a pocket) for all uses. I plan on camping, so a knife that can cut rope obviously, but I would be using this for sd and just average uses. I don't want to spend more than 30$ but I'd me most comfortable under 25. I've been looking at the following

(If this one, difference between Serrated edge?)

Any other recomendations would be helpful

I'd avoid Gerber, their quality is quite poor. Of the knives you listed I'd probably prefer the Ontario, which is regarded as a good value folder. Another brand to look into for cheaper folding knives is Kershaw, they are possibly the highest value folders on the market. The Kershaw Chill is an example. Finally if you're going to be carrying the knife in a pack is there any reason you don't want a fixed blade? You will find they are more capable and better value than folding knives.

If you want low price but a "hard use" folder then the Enlan EL-01 will be great, and and you can check the Victorinox locking blade knives.

Get a Mora fixed blade and you will be amazed at how much you get for your money.

That SOG is a blatant rip off of a spyderco endura, and the Gerbers are junk. The Ontario Rat-1 gets recommended all the time for a cheap, hard working knife, but everything about it is just lackluster in my mind, boring aesthetics, mediocre fit and finish, and low end materials just don't do anything for me. Around $30 Kershaw is going to be your best bet, you may be able to get into a spyderco tenacious for that if you look hard enough. With that said, bump up your price range a bit to the $50-100 territory and you start getting into the meat of spyderco's lineup (delica, endura, stretch) as well as a few of the lower end benchmades (griptilians, presidio ultra). I'd highly recommend you save up a bit longer and get something truly worth while.

The Vic Farmer is a great knife, I have one in my small "kit" that is in my briefcase. But for a locking blade in this price range, I like the Rat 1. I know some people don't like them but I have several and never had any problems with them.

those cheap gerbers are junk cut one piece of rope and there dull. Go with the rat and I dont know what your getting at with the sd.

If you ASSUME the OP miss typed his question, that statement it makes no sense.

Yeah maybe. English is not my main language.
It just seemed to fit the sentence better:

"I plan on camping, so a knife that can cut rope obviously, but I wouldn't be using this for sd and just for average uses."

Anyway a Victorinox is not suited for self defence since it will close on you.

Then I suggest a CRKT Drifter for $17, the frame lock version.

Ontario Rat 1 if it has to be a folder. If you can manage with a fixed blade, a Mora will do everything you need it to. Frame lock CRKT Drifter is not a bad choice, especially for the price.
