Best folding Knife?

This one:

Did that Benchmade come with that blade or did you customize it?

I would go with one of the Kershaws like the Tremor, Clash, or Volt series. These are all a great value for the money. Good Luck! Kevin :D:thumbup:

BTW- That Benchmade is going to be more than $25 to $30. :D

Keeping a knife in a rucksack pretty much negates any SD value it might have, just my opinion.

-Victorinox One Hand Trekker, it's a bit over your $30 limit but well worth it. It'll do everything on your list. It might be a bit bulky for EDC depending on the clothes you wear and if you're open to belt carry or not.

-Cold Steel Pocket Bushman. Quite tough and the blade shape is great, the lock is a bit awkward.

-Byrd Cara Cara.

-Ontario Rat 1.

-Benchmade H&K Mini Pika

-Kershaw Oso Sweet (or any other budget Kershaw)

-Blade Tech Ganyana Lite

Yep .. I really enjoy my Volt SS. I know a little about Benchmade but they were always to costly when raising my children. I just finally ordered my first one, but I never seen any with the stonewash blade.

That is their Ritter Grip series. S30V stonewashed blade. They are nice. Kevin

That's the stock blade shape and steel the the Doug Ritter model Griptilian comes with.
That's the Mini Grip, same blade shape and steel on the larger Doug Ritter model as well.
I prefer the Ritter Mini Grip, it's the best EDC folder I own.

Here's a pic of the larger one;

Yeah for that price range, tremor clash and volt are good recommendations. Also the byrd series meadowlark2 and caracara.

I would say spyderco persistence its one of my favorite all around knives. but if you are set on those knives you listed the Ontario rat is your best bet
