I'd say Ed Caffery has some very nice forged users. I especially like the EBK, it is small and light and sharp as everything, a nice little knife from a Mastersmith.
 
I'll second Penquin's listing of MasterSmith Murray Carter, young fellow but knows knives and knows sharp!

Here's a Tip...get one now before you can't afford one!

I have a Jeromy Anders forged knife that works great for "heavier" tasks. It is not a show piece but it's very servicable. Best part is it cost just a little more than $100.
