Best Grinder

I want to start grinding my own blades. Wondering what grinders are good for beginner. Ive seen them priced from $200 to $2000. Must be a good one in the middle somewhere. THANKS Jeff

A square wheel is a good grinder also the burr King. The big secret is to get a grinder that tracks properly . THEN get the variable speed.

I agree with Darrel. For a beginner you can't beat the Wilton Square Wheel. You can do 5 or 6 different operations with the same grinder. I use mine as much as the Burr King sitting beside it.

You only have one square wheel Kit? Well I have 2 of them, course I dont have the burr king! About $900 bucks and a good tough machine.

I got my square wheel grinder used, I bought it becasuse it was a good deal(I got it for ~$350)But I am glad I got it, You can do so much it. I got lucky Because I didn't know much about it before I got it.
