Best Grinds?

One maker I rarely see mentioned on the forums whose blade grinds are as close to perfect as I have seen is Joe Kious. From daggers to trailing points and Persians everything I have seen and owned has been right on the money.
Rob Blanton

Many names I could think of but, from the top of my head, David Broadwell and Steve J. Rapp.

I haven't done any grinding other than with files, so I have no experience of hollow grind. How ever, it seems to me that it would be slightly easier to build a sharp transition with hollow grind than with flat grind, and the deeper the curve, the easier (maybe there are other difficulties in deep hollow grinding - it sure looks cool.)

What I'm most impressed with are sharp transitions on shallow angles with flat or even better convex (apple seed) grinds. Even with stones, those are amazingly hard to achieve, and keep crisp and straight.

Glad this thread popped back up, its funny to see how my collection has evolved since this thread began a while back.

I do now own a RJ Martin, and his grinds are awesome. Also, Jerry Hossoms are excellent also. Pics below.
