My XLs like all the Emerson "super" models, but don't forget the CQC-8 and CQC-11 they are supersized without the benefit of the 'super' in the name.
The ergos on all the Emersons are the best in the business for folding knives, IMHO, so try them out.
My current favorites: Custom Emerson Super Commander, EKI CQC-8 and EKI Super Commander. The CQC-11 is not far behind but I hate to beat it up as it is not currently in production.

I hear you, Mark. I have a signed black serrated CQC11 I got a couple of weeks ago and it is the only Emerson I probably will not use either.
However, the Super SOCFK I received today will definately be a user, and will be my primary EDC for now.
