Best high end folding knives?

Can't for the life of me understand Shirogorov knives. Maybe someone can explain. Their "knives" are basically one knife. I know people who collect them mainly for the color-schemes. I can't understand collecting knives for color-schemes.
I want someone to prove me it's so much better than the higher-end Benchmade or surely Chris Reeve. Okay, if they had two or three models costing 300-400$, but having dozens of models costing thousands? Okay, nice steel, nicely put together, nice attention to details, but thousands and thousands for endless models which are essentially the same knife? I'm not buying this Russian Wonder.

My Oz Roosevelt is my favorite higher end knife in my collection. Probably one of only two or three knives that I’d never consider getting rid of despite the secondary pricing on them.
