best (ie cheapest) source for kydex

I would be interested in knowing a place which stocks the multiple colors of kydex (not just black, green, red). If anyone knows of a place which stocks these in small quantities I would appreciate knowing it.

I can't tell you where to get the small quantities, but an excellent source is Port Plastics. .090 is about $89 per sheet (4x8') The have a wide variety of types and colors. You can find them at......

I'm paying $4 per sq. ft. by the sq. ft.

Gotta cut that big sheet yourself I guess but if you use a lot of it - good buy. No doubt.

Actually, I have them cut it into four pieces for shipping, and it turns out that 1/4 of a sheet is easy to handle and further cut down to the sizes needed.
I order all of mine from the Colorado branch.........they have really good customer service there.
 
which kydex? aparantly there are about 20 different kinds. which kind is used most often for holsters/sheaths?
 
Ed, I've tried getting a quote from those folks a couple times and they don't get back to me. I'm trying to find out how much a 2 foot by 120 foot roll of .060" thick haircell black kydex would cost.

I think what your going to have to do is just call them up and ask them for the price. What I mean is to just stay on the phone until they give you the price. All I've ever done was call and tell them what I needed, gave them a credit card number, and within 3-4 days the package arrives at my doorstep.
