Best knife besides CRK?

I tend to think the tradition knife designs are the best, and therefore my favorite brand is Randall Made. The Randalls are expensive and I own only one, but I have yet to see any knife come closer to what I think is the ideal combat knife, than my Randall Model 14.

For a more affordable fixed blade, Cold Steel is the place to look. Their Recon Scout is a good lower priced alternative to the Randall Model 14.

The only thing lacking on my AG Russell One Hand (all stainless) is a pocket clip. I thought it was steep at $40 used from his old showroom BUT look now. Great fit and finish, awesome function. Just not appreciated very much.
As for the Randall 14 - yes. Just too nice to beat on, so the Camp Tramp now volunteers.
If I had the money for a Sebenza I would have to get a Canon Powershot 230 first. Then you would get pictures.

lu2236, I had and unfortunately lost a one-hand knife. With the exception of the handle being a little short for my liking it was one of my favorite. I made a pocket clip for mine and it worked well. I tapped the hole which was originally designed for a lanyard and used one screw to hold the clip in place. I had no trouble with the clip moving around. I latter removed the clip because I added handle slabs to mine as I liked it better that way. I still have the clip, and I think I tapped the hole 10-32. You have to take your time tapping the hole and use cutting fluid as the handle is hard, but not to hard too tap. If you are interested send me an email and I can send you the clip, also if you can measure the hole, I can tell you the tap size for sure. rsommer@airguard.com
