Best knife for 35$ or less.

Folder: Byrd Cara Cara
Fixed: SOG Field Pup (around $5 more than your limit)

An American classic...the Buck 110.

And a Swiss Classic...the Victorinox Soldier.

Just about any CRKT fits that bill.

I just bought two recently and they are great.

Byrd Cara Cara, Byrd Meadowlark, Böker Trance, Böker Subcom, Böker Wharcom, Kershaw Needs Work, Kershaw Storm II, Kershaw Scallion, Kershaw Chive, Buck Hartsook, Buck 110, Gerber Crusader, and the CRKT Dogfish, CRKT B.U.L.L., and the CRKT ROLLOCK are just some of the many decent knives you can get for under $35 bucks.

Best for what? I love the waht is the best knife threads..........The Spyderco Native is a great knife, and I also very much like SAK's. And there is the Spyderco Byrd line.

Buack Mayo Cutback , hated mine at first now it is my favorite beater/work knife.

Still not sure why. :D

Can we get a sticky for these sort of questions? Just a simple "Best Knives for the Money" title, and then a list of the best knives starting at $10, then $20, then $30, then $40, etc. on up to $100?

I'd recommend the Trance, an SAK, a Benchmade Pika, a Mora, or one of the Byrd Knives.
