Thanks for all the help. I think that I am going to go with the EDC in 154CM because it has received so many good reviews here and I think it will do the job nicely.
My reasoning was that I already have a Griptilian and I don't really like it. I mean I like the blade and the steel is surprisingly good but I just can't like it do to how thick the handle is. Also the handle has some little ridges sticking up on the back along the top and they are uncomfortable to me when you use the knife for any amout of time.
Thinking about reliable, not too big, not too expensive knife for daily use I would definitely go with SPYDERCO Delica. It is my general travel knife. When Im not sure about knife laws in country Im going to visit my Delica is always with me.
The new issue with saber ground VG-10 blade looks very appealing.
Or think about SPYDERCO Calypso Jr. Lightweight if you can find one.
No experience with Camillus EDC, just some very first Delicas advantages in this comparison:
Modest look less temptation to confiscate for unfair or/and officious police or custom officer
Fully ambidextrous
Certainly lighter and probably slimmer
No recurved edge what could make sharpening more difficult
Spyderco's <a href="http://www.spyderco.com/online_product_info.asp?sts=5%2F1%2F2002+1%3A56%3A44+PM&pfid=C13BK&deptId=1010&mscssid=JW8KDMHCWX6S9MEAEHPWM8RNKQ4711Q4">Pro Grip</a> lightweight plain-edge is also a great choice for all-purpose EDC.
About a month ago I purchased a Kershaw Vapor for $25 bucks...The best thing about this knife is that its so damn thin and has super smooth edges...Its kinda heavy but well worth the money...There's tons of CRKT knives under $50 bucks and most are pretty decent...I just ordered a Spyderco Delica with the VG10 blade from www.knifeworks.com for $43.49...not bad for such a light & super tough knife..Good luck
