I'm kinda new to the world of knives I currently have a spring loaded knife and a not spring loaded knife both of them are by Ozark Trail and I want to expand my collection so what knife would you recommend?
The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is ready to order! See this thread for details:
https://www.bladeforums.com/threads/bladeforums-2024-traditional-knife.2003187/
Price is $300 $250 ea (shipped within CONUS). If you live outside the US, I will contact you after your order for extra shipping charges.
Order here: https://www.bladeforums.com/help/2024-traditional/ - Order as many as you like, we have plenty.
A good start is keeping up with the General Knife Discussion threads here while also reviewing retail sites for pricing/availability. Also be sure to check out the Knife Exchange for pre-owned knives, it's a great resource.
I usually use the search function here to review threads on knives I'm interested in. This gives me a more realistic take on knives than Youtube ever will.
Good luck!
PS. I might also suggest setting a monthly budget, things can escalate quickly!
Well, someone has to say it so it might as well be me.
Sebenza.
They have two knives. The OP literally says that in the first sentence…If this person has not had a knife before
Listen… the steel is sharp. We’re making no other promises. They have two knives. The OP literally says that in the first sentence…
All knives are just made for average cutting..only cold steel can handled the harder stuff.furreddtledlenI was going to suggest the same line of knives.... many variations with prices starting at $40 and they are fantastic knives.

I have over 10 spydercos and I can never trust them for defense.Lots of replies so far have come and gone without suggesting a Spyderco Paramilitary 2. You could live and die only having this knife and be happy.
Most of my good knives are spydercos but the cold steel voyager, counterpoint 1,Assuming beginners don't have much cash for knives I'd recommend this Spyderco Resilience black model. It also comes in different steels for a slightly higher price.
You were oh so close, with one little fixed that for you.Well, someone has to say it so it might as well be me.
