Best knife for cutting wires,rope,etc...

Ya get a leatherman to cut wire with. Any one of them will work, I like the s2 juice for edc. For rope the best is the spyderco spyderhawk (endura sized) or Tasman salt (delica sized).
 
id say shears of some sort?? will work much better than a knife

but for something cheap & very good a this get a Byrd Hawkbill like this

only problem with leathermans are they are made with softer metals and if you have to cut a hardened steel wire, they won't work as well as the should

If you are constantly cutting wires, pay $20 cor some cargo pants w/ lots of pockets and carry a pair of wire cutters
