Best Knife/Gun Combo

A subcompact Glock and a black serrated Kershaw Boa. 9mm, 10mm, and 45ACP. The next Glock I plan on buying is the one in my sig. I have a bad case of the glock bug.

Reasons: The Glocks are reliable, the baby Glocks are accurate, and argueably more than the full and mid size models. I also like the subcompacts because magazines are cheaper. The larger guns were designed for regular (or high cap. if you're an anti)15 and 30+ capacity magazines so that naturally makes you want to replace the neutered clinton mags. The Baby glocks were made for 10 round magazines so you feel content when you buy one. You don't feel the need to go out and buy $30 to $100 spare magazines. Although I did go and buy 2 spare 10 rounders for my G26, but that's just me. The Kershaw Boa is neat because it's a Baby Bolo Blade. And it's a speedsafe. And it's black so it matches the Glocks. You could call the 10 and the 45 Big Babies. Big calibers in small packages. :D

For pure brute strength and durability: Glock 19 and Al Mar SERE 2000

For outstanding craftsmanship and elegance, requiring a little more care than those mentioned above, but extremely effective nonetheless: Kimber Stainless Covert (compact .45) with Carbon Creations carbon fiber handles, and William Henry Black and Tan Spearpoint.

(Pictures to follow if I can get my camera to work.)

This is a happy topic.

On my belt and in my pockets right now is a

1)Glock 19 w/ 15rd magazine loaded with Federal hydrashock 135gr. JHP
2)2 spare 10 round magazines loaded with the same
3. Surefire Z2 Combatlight w/ 120 lumen upgrade lamp
4. Benchmade 555 griptilian

I wish I had the 690..I'd replace the wood for carbon grips..but I cant afford it :grumpy:

My hard chromed custom Sprinfield Champion Comp .45 and Emerson Commander.

2nd.....my Ruger .454 Cassull SR, and Spyderco Tim Wegner.

3rd.....my Glock 21 .45, and Syderco Police G-10 PE.

I already have pics of these posted in numerous threads here in the forums. I still love reading these threads!:D

Spyderco SS SE Police and SS PE Delica to go along with my Glock 10mm model 20 or .40 model 23.

Beside the bed at night:

Ruger GP100 with 3" barrel, stainless steel finish, fixed sights
Becker TacTool

My daily carry is this Glock 27 (.40) in Galco leather...but the balisong has to stay home. I can legally carry the concealed gun, but not a balisong!

I was pleasantly surprised to see the very first response in the thread settle on the subcompact Glocks, because that's what I strongly recommend for everyday carry. The M27 in .40S&W is my own choice, and it combines well with a Spyderco Delica or a Benchmade Mini-Griptilian, either knife in combo edge.

Don't forget your pepper spray! Who wants to spill blood if they don't have to? :p

A Wilson Millenium Protector and either a Benchmade 710, an Al Mar SERE 2000, or on those "dressy occasions", a Wood Inlaid Sebenza :D . geegee

Anybody know a good site to host pictures? I'm talking cheap or better yet FREE! I've got some great pics to post but nowhere to host 'em....

Thanks!

Since it's impossible for an everyday citzen to get a CCW in this country... I don't carry a gun (it's hard enough legally get a 3 shot winchester let alone a .45)

But if I had to carry because of warfare... it would be my Para-Ordance P13 (smallest handgun I own). 10 Rounds in a .45 clip. I can't pick one particualr knife but it would probably be a Delica or BM 350 or a BM Mini-Griptilian (I don't have one right now though).

I actually sometimes carry a expandable baton (16") and I keep it on the table beside my bed along with a baseball bat on the ground. I LEGALLY have to keep the gun in a safe or have a lock on the trigger and the ammo not with in reach.

I'm fond of my latest tactical **** set up... a HK USP9c and a Carson stellite and ti grey **** hawkbill. I also often carry a Carson large stellite M16 with ti bolsters and carbon fiber scales in place of the hawkbill, or sometimes in a jacket pocket and still have the hawkbill on me. I can't take the gun with me a lot of places anymore, as I am doing my student teaching and I legally can not leave me gun unattended in the vehicle on school property. This regulates me to carry on nights and weekend, in which case I usually take my SureFire E2e with me as well. The Carsons are wonderful knives and I have yet to find a production defensive firearm as well done as the HKs. It works well for me.
