Best Knife I Can Get Under $20?

Ganzo G704 used to be one of the best deals, only $14 and free worldwide shipping. Now the price seems to have increased to $19. Being a ripoff of the Benchmade 14205 it's not a very ethical knife though.

The Sanrenmu 710 is $11 and is a great little knife for the price. It kind of mimics the lines of a Sebenza which annoys some people but it's just about impossible to mistake for one so I don't consider it a knockoff.

The Enlan EL-01 is $17 and like the 710, has got many good reviews from the forum across the pond. This is an original design, a tough liner lock flipper. They seem to like it over there.

Apart from that probably Opinel and Rough Rider.

I've heard that all these are Chinese knockoff brands. Are their QA all trustworthy?

These particular models should be just fine but I don't trust the quality of unknown models I haven't handled until a few other people buy them and comment on it.

I bought my Kershaw Chill for $17.77, my Buck Vantage Select Small for $14.99, and my Ka-Bar Dozier Hunters for $18.00. I'm happy with all of those.

If you want to go really cheap, I like my Boker Sandalwood which I got for $9.95.

+1 for the opinel been around for 100's of years for a reason.

You realize you are "+1"ing a knife the original poster SPECIFICALLY SAID not to recommend, as he already had plenty...right? Also I'm not sure something that was first started in 1890 counts as "hundreds" of years, but that's neither here not there, I suppose.

Back to the OP:
Any of Kershaw's budget line-most of them are right around $20, a $25 gift card should cover you.
Anything from Spyderco's Byrd lineup(see above)
Your choice of various SAKs in that range
Cold Steel Kudu/Finn Bear/Roach Belly/Canadian Belt Knife(these run between $10-15 each)
Ontario Utilitac 2(these are usually right around $25 but you can sometimes find them for less)
If you like traditionals/slipjoints, Rough Rider has a whole range of options for under $20
Svord Peasant
Enlan EL04MCT(the only Enlan I have experience with, it's around the same level of quality as the budget Kershaw/Byrd stuff, plus it's got micarta scales, something you don't see often in a budget folder)

Pretty sure he was just being sarcastic. Meaning Opinel has been around for some time.

If you have $5 to spare, I recommend getting the Kershaw Injection 3.0 (3.5 is an option too). It's a really great knife and is my third favorite folder in my collection at the moment (the first two being the Spyderco GB Folder and ZT0801).

Buck BuckLite Max Large or Medium.
Buck Vantage Select Small. The Large size will run you a few $ over.
Made in the USA.
Just about all of the others listed aren't made in the USA.
