best knife mag?

I used to occasionally pick up Tactical Knives and BLADE, but not with any regularity. They are both decent, but I sometimes got the impression their product reviews were not impartial. I agree with those who say that the internet is a much better resource for info on knives. And there are literally thousands of pictures of gorgeous knives free and at your fingertips.
 
Mine peel right off. But you're right - who cares? It's a flippin' magazine.
 
I've subscribed to Blade in the past and there's usually something I find interesting. I remember reading about S30V in an article in Blade well before it caught on with the big makers and before I saw anything posted here. The forums is probably your best bet for reviews and advice but it's hard to read on the crapper.
 
I'll be dropping my sub to Blade and keeping the one to Tactical Knives.

Blade has been cost cutting with rehashes and endless lists of makers to fill pages. I seldom find more than one Blade article of interest.

They cover shows well.

But so what?

TK is knife porn and escapism. Good stuff.

TK is the bada$$ of the lot.
the photography is so fly.
just watch for reactions when pulling out an issue of TK to read in public...
