Best knife to give my nephew for his first snipe hunt?

The snipe is one of the Most cunning, crafty, and devious critters in All of Creation. Not only that, but they can be Very Dangerous. Please leave this matter to the experts. By the way, a 'punchline' is only used by those snipe hunters who like to use snares.

I have been on quite a few snipe hunts myself, and my first one lasted for a long time until I luckily started making my way back to camp

Anyway, if I had bagged a snipe, I deffinatly would have wanted a Buck Crosslock for killing it and an 18 inch ontario machete for killing it. Both of these should be well within most price ranges also.

I, too, remember my first snipe hunt- my dad and his friends took me out just after I turned 13. I had three whole beers and saw at least 3 snipes. Man, do those buggers move fast.
I assume the burlap sacks are dirty and ready to go?
