If you don't already have a small fixed blade, I highly recommend an Izula. It's very strong and slips into a pocket easier than many folders.

For a folder, throw in an extra $10 and get a Manix 2.

So my g/f ended up getting me an Endura in G-10! I have the frn version. I cant wait! Thanks for all the suggestions guys, I hope this thread keeps going b/c I know a lot of people are looking for blades in this price range. I heard a lot of good ones and some I've never heard of but are now interested in!

The best deals IMHO are the ZDP composite blade Blurs shipped for $65 and the CPM154 Blurs for $45. If you don't want AO, he has the CB JYD's for $42 and the SG2 JYD for $79. Too much good stuff to list here. Check out his thread![/QUO

Yes they are being discounted right now as they are not in the Spyderco lineup anymore. You'll see that it's absolutely marvelous. It actually feels -no exaggeration- like a custom, at least mine is that precisely made.

kershawguy has Kershaw Blur Composite blade blems for (1670BRNZDP) $65 - these retail for $139.95 and normally sell for around $85 plus tax and shipping.

I got one and love it - it is a very high quality knife for $65......

here is a pic of the one I got - I have never been able to find a blemish on this knife

There is an option for you...

The only bad thing I have found about my blur is that the thumb studs are sharply machined and they can tear up your pants and thumb - I ground the studs down on one with a dremel and that solved the problem fine ( I did this to a friends, I have not done mine yet, but I do not carry the blur EDC, I just rotate it in once in a while) .

Thumbs up to this. I bought a blem blur (say that five times fast) from kershawguy as well. I can see the blemish on mine (slight smearing of the copper liner) but its no big deal. Great deal on a great knife.
