Best knives you carry?

What's your favorite brand/model you carry or use for certain situations? Please list examples like;
1. small pocket every day knife
2. medium carry folder
3. large carry folder
4. field/camp knife. ete.

What is the "best knife for the money" 3" blade and 3 3/4" blade?

Mine:
1. spyderco dragon fly, CRKT small Ticke Tac, or Buck B274 2 blade.
2. Benchmade Mel Pardue 722 axis, CRKT M18-12
3. CRKT M16-14 (new and testing) or M16-13sf
4. BK&T 2 Companion or BKT7

I always carry the spyderco and of course my favorite is
the Benchmade axis lock.

I don't think I own anything that qualifies as a small folder except your standard mini SAKs.

My favorite medium folder has been a Spyderco Native taht I bought two and a half years ago and have carried every day I wasn't in school ever since. GREAT knife, especailly ergonomically.

As for large folders, I own two. My CS Guniste folder is a good knife, surprisingly easy to carry and scary sharp from the factory. The Vaquero Grande is fun, but too hard to carry (I have the old model with the kydex sheath).

Best fixed blade, hands down, is my Randall mod 14. Wow. Randalls live up to their reputation for craftsmasnip and performance. It has a comfortable, single finger grip handle and an wonderfully ground blade. The sheath is great to boot.
 
I've only got two. A MT Socom Elite M/A to carry when wearing Levis and a Spyderco Wegner jr. with slacks. Both plain edge.

Of folders, I've only got wee ones, and of those I generally carry my Gerber AR3.00. I don't think there's such a thing as best knife for the money. It all depends on what purpose you want to use it for, what style you want etc. There are too many good blades out there for each purpose that aesthetics are a factor. As for my field/camp knife I carry my Fallkniven F1 with teflon coated blade.

Just picked up a new Emerson MARK1 on ebay,,very nice.
I sold the my CRKT's.
I'm triming my knifes down to around 6 "carry" knives.
I like my BM722 axis but the Emerson was too good of a
deal to turn down. ($75)
I agree that Spyderco's are the best deal for the money,
but I guess I've taken the step to BM and Emerson.
I still carry my Spydie Dragon-Fly, but have a Mouse
on order.
CRKT is going to build a bigger "SF" on the M16-14 frame,
I might get one (toward the end of the year).
I also purchase knives wholesale, just to do the "touchy-
feely" thing, if I don't like them I sell them on ebay.
I did that with a Buck Strider. Nice but just not what
I wanted. Hard to beat the BK&T Companion for the hard
stuff.

Multi-tool: Leatherman PST or Gerber Pro-Scout.
Fixed-blade: Ontario 12" machete.

Small: DDR Small EDC, framelock, D-2 steel, 3" blade
Medium: DDR Medium EDC, framelock, 420-V, 3 1/2" blade
I want to get a Spyderco Military for a large folder
Leatherman Supertool
Victorinox Soldier
Wenger Mountaineer lock blade, w/saw for backpacking, etc.
Have no use for a fixed blade, except fillet knives.

1. the ones i own. although spydercos are a pretty good value (i only buy knives made in usa so those spydercos i like are the some of the most expensive models)

Large Folder:The Military. It will be my fave once it gets here. Currently my defualt is my CRKT Apache

I really like carring them all at once on covert missions to the grocery store. I do have to leave the CT in the car.

I would squeeze in the BM 42 if I could carry it anywhere other than around the house.

Best value would have to be the Camillus Arclight.

Large Folder: Microtech Socom Elite 2000 Version (old blade grind) w/ plain edge, satin blade (154CM).

Outdoors/ camp knife: Lile Combat (7" D2 clip point blade w/ Black linen micarta slabs and a full tapered tang).
