On the BuyBrown Sheath you also have the option of locking the knife in the sheath by way of the Talon hole.

I Tend to put a Leash of some sort on the Smaller Busse knives and pass the end through the talon hole sheath hole to lock the knife in place while in the car or in heavy brush, also what I would do if I jumped out of an aircraft with it.

Is the "Talon" hole the small hole on the just ahead of the handle? Can you show a pic of what you might have set up to secure it?

Let's see if I can remember How to do this.

This is a Neck knife sheath By Buy Brown, it is for a Skeleton key with the tail through the lock Hole.

It is left loose on purpose for this Photograph, I usually leave it tight when I wear it.

What you do is put the knife in the sheath, run the tail through the hole, pull a little tight then slightly withdraw the knife, this puts a little bind in the cord and locks the coard as well as the knife.

Thanks for the pics Bud! I kinda had a idea what had to happen it just makes it a little easier if you understand the terminology.Where can you get the "landyards"? any style to look for or quality?

I usually take a bit of 2mm or 3mm Accessory cord, there are alot of different colors and patterns and braid some thing to suit me and leave a little tail to pass through the lock hole.
