Best larger EDC options that can be bought w/premium steel for $100ish or less?

Bigfatts,

I couldn't find a Bone Collector with s30v steel. The cheapest Benchmade I could find was around $130 for a 470 Emissary Axis. Looks really nice, but slightly out of range. I've been trying to stick with premium steel and s30v just to keep that aspect equal. Although I am also open to other options (CPM154)

Ah, true it only comes in D2, but if you haven't had a quality D2 blade you just don't know what you are missing. Edge retention and the edge it will take are astounding.

Well, I pulled the trigger on the Military! Hopefully, I will be happy. If not I supposedly have the option to return it within 60 days. I will find something smaller to carry around everyday, and use the military for hiking, hunting, and weekend EDC.

Thanks everyone for your feedback!

If you use the proper discount codes you can get several Benchmade's AXIS-Lock folders close to your price.

Do you think the Axis lock folders from Benchmade are better? The 940 series seems to be going at a 30% premium and has a lower retail than the LH Military. Honestly, I primarily focused on Kershaw and Spyderco. It seemed like Benchmade had restricted pricing that made it hard to get as much for my money.

Send me an email. And yes, I think the AXIS-Lock is much better than anything else you are looking at. Just my two cents though.

I can't speak to the Militarys or Para's but I love the FFG Endura 4. I switch off between that and my new leatherman sidekick which i would also recommend.
