Best larger spyderco knife..

Either a PM2 or a flat ground Endura in ZDP like stated above. Of those two I'd take the PM2

Yeah the Para 2 is a good choice but the Endura has a longer blade and much cheaper. Can't go wrong with either.

Manix XL is one of the best values I've seen.

My brother loves his and uses it frequently. I've carried it a few times and it carried real light and only weights 5oz or less.

You'll notice that in the descriptions online it will say it weighs more, but I think that was before they milled out the liners.

Go get it!

Ill second this motion, i have been carrying my XL for the past 5 months exclusively. It has bumped everything out of my pocket as of now... You can easily find them on the forums for under 100, and even some websites...
Mine still locks up like a vault, no play whatsoever. Which is surprising because i have cut everything from boxes to tree branches. I COULDNT be happier with this knife.

Just bought the all black para2...can't freakin wait to get it

Good choice. Don't worry about the black coating on it. Spyderco's USA made black DLC finish is pretty tough compared to other companies powder coating.

Ya, I'm not worried about the coating...at this point it won't be doing anything other than small day to day tasks so the coating shouldn't take too much abuse.
Can't wait for it!

You made a fine choice

The PM2 is worth the extra coin.
